Comcast

MSU Telecommunication Systems provides cable television service to the MSU campus. The television signal is divided into several parts:

• Interactive Video Services (IVS), formerly Instructional Television Service
• Entertainment Television (ETV)
  • Basic Cable
  • Digital Cable

The IVS part of the line-up consists of 8 instructional channels with programming that originates at IVS, a division of MSU Broadcasting Services, and you can contact us for service. The local cable provider, Comcast, is the source for the 43 basic cable ETV channels and this programming is similar to what you would find in your own home. Updated channel line-up information is available and you can contact us for service. Comcast also offers digital cable services with additional channel options, premium movie channels, commercial-free music, and pay-per-view services. You must contact Comcast directly at 1-888-COMCAST for digital cable service.
